Synopsis

A 70's and 80's style feature, filmed and edited to look like the exploitation grindhouse films of that era, complete with trailers and film reel damage. The feature follows a series of exploitation trailers and popcorn ads to give you the feel of going to see a movie in the theater or drive-in, back in the day. CARNIVAL of the DAMNED is exactly what it sets out to be. Grindhouse.
The film involves a detective, a rookie officer, a waitress, a reporter, and a hitman stopping a cult from taking over with a legion of the walking dead. Can our heroes survive the night? Where will you be when the world ends?

This special edition version of the DVD includes a directors commentary, deleted scenes, outtakes reel, making of video diary, subtitle track, poster gallery, interview with the director, behind the scenes photos, trading card gallery, trailer and two easter eggs all in a beautiful slipcase.

Harry Stanton: Raphael Giovanni Carlo | bio
RAPHAEL GIOVANNI CARLO has worked in the film business for 20 years. His first work in film was in the 1990s horror film Class of 1999 playing a teen gang member. Raphael has had starring roles in 10 independent films. Currently he is embarking on his first big budget production called SINNER. Mr. Carlo currently resides in Port Orchard, WA where he also runs his production company.

Director: Chris Thompson | bio
Chris Thompson is a filmmaker that is also a fan of all cinema. Growing up in the 70's and 80's he watched everything that came out regardless of genre or language. He started out making small films on 8mm and VHS video cameras with his friends, acting in school, and community plays, and role playing games. Learning special FX from an industry professional at only age 16, he started working as a film festival projectionist that same year. His interest in acting and filmmaking grew, and when he got out of the Navy in the early 90's went to film school and acted in several projects. CARNIVAL of the DAMNED is his feature film directorial debut, but he has several other feature projects in the pipeline with his long time producing partner Stan Wankowski through thier company In The Can Pictures. Keep on the look out for more titles by this rising star.
Producer: Stan Wankowski | bio
Stan was born, in San Diego, CA in 1968 (Chris Thompson was also born in San Diego, and has his birthday the day after Stan's). He then studied Photography in Towson, MD before eventually ending up in Washington State where ran his own gaming store for 5 years called Discordia games. It was here that he met his future producing partner Thompson, who ran a toy and comic shop next door. This is thier first feature together and are currently getting ready to shoot another two films.

"I have to say it….HOLY SHIT!!! Watching this DVD over the weekend did two things for me…first, it blew me away – plain and simple. Second, it took me back to the 5th grade, when either my older cousins or my next door neighbor were sneaking me into theatres and/or drive-ins to get my weekly horror fix. In fact, if it not for me being 60 pounds heavier and surrounded by advanced technology, I would have sworn that I was actually back in the late 70's/early 80's while watching this flick…GREAT SCOTT!!!"
