LONG before there was digital filmmaking and desktop editing, there was a little independent film called "A Polish Vampire in Burbank." As you may be aware, this feature film was produced from 1981 to 1983 on a ridiculously low budget of $2500, utilizing a super 8mm home movie camera, a garage, a couple of plastic skeletons, a few friends, and lot of determination and passion. The lead actor quit a few months into production and the role was taken over by the director. Polish Vampire was the first (and possibly the only) $2500 feature film that ran on USA Network for two years in the early 90's. This feature film is a must see for anyone out there contemplating producing their own no-budget motion picture. Don't confuse this one with the 2002 DVD release (with the mosquito on the cover). This is a completely remastered version with special 25th anniversary features, including a blow by blow documentary on the making of this film, with interviews with cast and crew, director commenary, trailers plus a surprise or two.
